I'm half deaf, half blind, and half crazy, but mostly I'm just a geek. I'm on LiveJournal, Facebook, MySpace, Friendster, Xanga, InsaneJournal, Twitter, Wordpress, GreatestJournal, etc., but you will usually find me here on LiveJournal.
I was adopted by Sam Campbell Jr. and Angela Campbell. My mom died in March of 2003. I have two brothers and two sisters: Georgeina, Stewart, Daniel, and Bethany. I was raised in an interracial family. Daniel is black, Stewart is bi-racial (half black, half white) and my two sisters are white.
My professional career was in computer programming and database administration, but I've done plenty of other odd jobs. I've written several freeware programs which have been distributed on PCMag.com, Simtel, and DOSgamer. Currently I am, for lack of a better word, a bum. Or disabled. Take your pick.
If you've been trying to find that weird geeky guy from school with the hearing aids and a penchant for sticking his nose so far in a book that the print would turn his nose black, then I'm that guy.

I'm am partially deaf, but fully sighted - although that's not to say that I always see what's right in front of my face.
I was also a geek ... still am, proud of it actually. There's something slightly amusing about having your boss come to you for everything computer related or simply to "check" her writing (where I work, "Can you check this for me" usually translates in to "please rewrite this so it sounds better")
Anyway, I enjoyed this post... :)
yay for whipped cream but I think I'll pass on the triple breasted alien whore. I can't see myself swinging that way and, quite truthfully, I'm jealous enough of whores with two full breasts, I can't imagine a triplet!

Well, y'know, for some reason when I read your posts, I had always imagined a cultured, intelligent, somewhat professorial male voice, and I had found myself thinking how rare it was to find guys like you, and how glad I was to know you. I'm still glad, of course, but I had honestly looked up to you as role model of sorts. "See? Not all males are ape-browed Neanderthals. Just look at Hummingwolf!"
